Hello to All our Mission of the Loving Shepherd Friends and Family!
From Louis Jr. & Christy Escobedo
July 20, 2015

We are happy and excited to be invited aboard such an important missional journey! We recently relocated from Boise, Idaho and are slowly settling into our new home in Tucson, Arizona.

My name is Louis A. Escobedo, Jr, son of MLS founders Rev. Louis and Dorothea Escobedo. After completing two years of Bible College we have felt the call to the Mission of the Loving Shepherd. My wife Christy and I are continuing our education are very excited and thankful to God for our new position on the MLS team!

For the last two years we have been working to establish our Senior Chapel Services (SCS) Ministry in Boise, Idaho. This ministry has been providing services in three different retirement homes in the Boise area and our goal is to establish many more here in Tucson, Arizona -- eventually including Phoenix and beyond.

God has graciously provided us with an office space at Ascension Lutheran Church right here in Tucson. We will be working on setting up chapel services in Independent and Assisted Living Retirement Homes. Our mission is to bring the Gospel Message to our precious seniors who are unable to attend their home church.

Our goal at SCS is to affirm the faith of the believer, to offer hope to both the believer and unbeliever, and to encourage growth in Jesus Christ. We are very grateful for all the different ways many of you have supported our ministry. May God Bless you greatly as you consider investing in and supporting this new branch of Mission of the Loving Shepherd.

In Christ's Service and Love,

Louis Jr. & Christy Escobedo
